Welcome to Chef Tom's New Kitchen
Chef Tom's culinary career started at the PGH Field Club in 1959 through 1969. He then spent 6 years at the University Club where he worked with his mentor Chef Benson L. Hoover. From there he joined the staff at Edgewood Country Club as Executive Chef working with General Manager Dogga Mae Williams, one of the finest general managers in Allegheny County. Tom and his staff served sit down dinners for parties with 400-450 guests and even buffets that served 600. The menu ranged from comfort food to exotic gourmet dinners.He then retired from Edgewood Country Club in December 1999 after 26 years. For the following three years he worked at Cole Cafe.
Finally in June 2006 he joined in a parternership with Donna Cole, the owner of Cole Cafe, Inc. and together they founded Cole's Specialty Catering. They feel that Cole's Specialty Catering is one great up and coming Catering Business in the North Hills. With Tom's tireless work ethic and knowledge of the Culinary Arts he looks forward to your challenge of any capacity.
